Would it be possible to keep Velella velella and/or Porpita porpita alive in a large enough aquarium?
i think that generally siphonophores and other colonial cnidaria that are pelagic floating animals do not well in captivity. i know of no large aquarium even that keeps these sorts of things. sorry :/
